Exclusive Birder Special Pelagics

Birder Special Pelagics were launched in August 2008 to cater for the keen seabirder. All trips depart from St Mary's quay and are for birders only, run on weekends throughout August, and extend over a whole day. Trips visit known upwellings, drift and chum, steam and chum, and inspect seabirds around trawlers if present. Everything possible is done to attract a wide range of species to the vessel for close-up views and photography. For details of what we do and what to expect Click here

Investigate reefs & upwellings at Poll Bank & Seven Stones
Investigate bird activity around trawlers (if present in Scillonian waters)
Supply and administer chum, oil & popcorn etc
